  2. Wont installing a qt application like vlc on gtk desktop like gnome , increase the system overhead by installing a lot of qt dependencies ?

  3. I'm having some trouble with this command "gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock click-action 'minimize' " in PoP OS. it says there is no click-action.

  4. Excellent video. Very good information. I really like Ubuntu and these tips really improve the usability. Biggest issue I'm still working on is the Google Drive is very very slow to populate. Still looking into that problem.

  8. I would also recommend installing xfce4, whisker menu and lightdm
    Much faster environment better boot menu and no more ugly purple/orange
    and the desktop icons are not huge!

  9. I have just installed my 1st Linux system after watching a couple of videos. Thank you for your channel and no doubt I will learn from it.
    Just a quick question if I may, once you have a theme, icons, cursors, dock, menus etc set up (ie the interface) is there a way to save all those settings so that they can be reapplied automatically later. I would like to have a few different desktop setups that I can quickly switch between. Thanks

  10. Love your video. Anyway, I have a problem with the touchpad. When I type, my palms can accidentally touch the touchpad and the mouse moves everywhere, which messes up my doc and take lots of my time. I didnt experience this prob when I was using 16.04 LTS. I tried everything I could find online but nothing worked. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

  12. I have an external SSD which I connect via USB (whenever I need to use it). Do I have to do step 14:01 ?

  13. I immediately remove Amazon's bloatware after installing Ubuntu. My computer is not an advertising platform, if I want have to buy on Amazon (which I rarely do…) I will use Amazon's website.
